Travelling by Air: -

There are no direct airplanes to Haridwar; the nearest Airport to Haridwar is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. The local airport (Jolly Grant) is 33 kms away from haridwar, after reaching Dehradun you can hire a cab and reach your destination. The nearest International Airport is the Delhi airport which is approx 200 kms far from Haridwar. If you are an international tourist or pilgrim, you can take a bus to reach Haridwar. There are many carriers that provide flight all days of the week. You have direct flight to Dehradun from Delhi and Lucknow and connecting flights from Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Traveling by Train: -

The nearest railway station is Haridwar Railway station which is 3 km away from Har ki Pauri. You can hire a taxi or a cab after reaching here, the Ganga ghat is approximately 20 mins away. You can easily cover this 20 minutes journey by enjoying the scenic beauty of Haridwar. The train route of Haridwar is connected to many big cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune.

Traveling by bus: -

The nearest bus station is Haridwar bus stand, which is 1.5 kms away from har ki pauri. You can easily reach the Ghat from Haridwar bus stand and railway station by hiring a cab. There are regular buses from Delhi to Haridwar and many other cities.

They asked us to visit other places instead of lal tibba. We visited lal tibba by walk as it was only 1 km from the other places. When we visi
    ted the other places via cab, lal tibba was in our way. What was the point of saying that we dont go there?? What i have understood is that they themselves not aware of the route. There was lack of clarity about th places. Otherwise overall experience was fine Everything except clarity for one of the place.

    La Nivasa hotel was very nice and the food, hospitality of the staff was very friendly. Specail thanks to Deepak who worked in La Nivasa for taking care of our request. The Cab driver experience was okay and could be improved. The driving partner ask for extra cash if they need to wait after 6 p.m.
    , this was never communicated before the trip and they do create a scene out of it. Last time when I visited Manali faced similar issue and this time in Nainital was not so different experience.
