3. Ponnumthuruthu
A splendid and serene getaway covered by the Anjengo backwaters, Ponnumthuruthu Island is reachable by boat from the jetty at the Nedunganda Village, which is situated close to this place. This place is situated at a distance of around 10 km away from Varkala town. This majestic getaway is a notional option for sunset.
4. Thiruvambadi Beach

5. Janardhanaswamy Temple
The famous Janardhanaswamy Temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu. This temple has a 6 ft high lotus shaped platform for the idol deity. According to Legends, the idol was found from the coast of the sea.
