History
The History associated with flea market dates back to about two centuries. The pickers or crocheters at the time set up their own temporary stalls within Paris walls. They were shooed away from the city by the pickpockets and thieves.

Les Puces Flea Market
Les Puces Flea market in the city of Paris is the biggest Flea market in the whole world. The market has a great collection of antique and vintage treasures. Les Puces is the flea market which covers more than seven hectares and is a huge antique market in the whole world. This flea market of Paris gets more than 180,000 visitors every weekend from all over the globe. This market opens every Saturday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, every Sunday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and every Monday from 11:00 am to 05:00 pm.
Rue des Rosiers
Rue des Rosiers is the place that has many interesting shops which sell Art Deco fireplaces, furniture, interesting decorative pieces and mirrors. It is also the best place to shop at a reasonable and convenient price. Marché Vernaison, smaller Marche Antic and 99 rue des Rosiers one can first find on the right. Vernaison is a great winding market where one can find things like furniture, beads, the missing parts of antique commodes, antique toys, paintings, textiles etc. It is an enormous space where one can get lost wandering the alleyways. It is the best place to find small objects and paintings.
The left side also has furniture and objects that are dated back to 18th and 19th century. One can find silver, archeological pieces and Asian artifacts too in this part of the market.
Marche Serpette and Marche Paul Bert
This is a market that has an enormous selection for kitchen goods, art deco hardware, furniture, vintage clothing, antique luggage, paintings, mirrors, prints, and furniture. Paul Bert has got a combination of the traditional and kitsch dealers that sell the furniture from 50’s and of 60’s. There is one large kitchen store which can be found in the back alleys of Serpette. Marche Serpette and Marche Paul Bert is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It opens on Friday from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm, Saturday from 09:00 am to 6:00 pm, Sunday from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm and on Monday 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
Marche Jules Vallee
7-9 rue Jules Vallee is found behind Paul Bert and Marche Serpette and it sells religious art, records, small items, and antiques. It gives the feel of a thrift shop.
