About Elephant Nature Park In Chiang Mai
Inaugurated in the year 1990, Elephant Nature Park is a wildlife conservation project nestled in Northern Thailand at the province of Chiang Mai. Established with an aim to provide shelter and conserve distressed elephants, this lush green sanctuary located at a distance of 60 km from the city has rescued more than 200 giant species since its inception.
Pay a visit to this rescue and rehabilitation centre if you are a wildlife enthusiast, and grab an amazing opportunity to enjoy a rendezvous with around 70 elephants. The most interesting part about Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Mai is that it allows you to make a booking in the capacity of a visitor and a volunteer, so as to let you partake in numerous activities, including feeding, bathing, and taking elephants on a jungle trek. However, note it down that the park doesn’t force any volunteer to participate in any activity that you are not comfortable about.
