The market became very crowded and this made the authorities take the decision to relocate it from the major walking street in the entrance of the city to the orchards of covenant St Joseph. Later it was moved to the square built in the place of St James covenant and is currently located in there and the market evolved with time and became a popular attraction in Barcelona.
