Unlike other hill stations in the state, Vagamon experiences pleasant and cool weather throughout the year. By virtue of its location at high altitude, the temperature of this city is always pleasing and ranges from 10 to 25 degrees Celsius yearlong. Although Vagamon is an all-season destination, it is better to avoid visiting this city during monsoons as heavy rainfall makes the traveling tough. Hence, the best time to visit Vagamon is during the dry seasons i.e summers (March to May) or winter (December to February). Both the seasons hide a different experience altogether.

The months between March and May experience a delightful summer and allows travelers to ride an elephant or be a part of the celebrated paragliding festival. The beautiful and soul-soothing weather in summer attracts a countless number of tourists to this destination.

    Me and my spouse had a wonderful 4D4N trip, covering Cochin, Aleppey, Thekkady, Munnar, and back to Cochin. Thanks to TT, we partnered with 7C Destination for the trip, with Renjith handling the planning and Shanavas serving as our driver. Renjith was extremely helpful and communicative throughout
    the trip planning process. He arranged fantastic hotel stays in Thekkady and Munnar, as well as a comfortable houseboat experience in Aleppey, which provided delicious food and a smooth cruise. Shanavas, on the other hand, was focused and tireless, driving us around without any sign of fatigue. However, there were a few areas where the experience could have been improved: Thekkady – Periyar Boating: Our primary goal upon arriving in Thekkady was to experience the Periyar Boating, but we were surprised to find that tickets had sold out due to high demand. It would have been helpful if the tour agent had informed us earlier, allowing us to book tickets online in advance. Jeep Safari in Thekkady: We were advised that the Jeep Safari would be a great alternative to the Periyar Boating, but it did not live up to expectations. We later learned that the Jeep Safari in Munnar is much more enjoyable and exciting. Waterfalls: The itinerary mentioned visiting beautiful waterfalls along the way, but due to the season, we didn't see any. We were also unaware that the Athirappilly Waterfalls would have provided a much better experience. Had we known, we could have adjusted our itinerary to include this stop. Overall, I hope the agency will consider factors such as crowd sizes and weather conditions when curating itineraries, to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for guests. Despite these few issues, the trip was still fantastic, and we are immensely grateful to Renjith and Shanavas for their support and excellent service throughout. 7C Destination - Recommended tour agency.

    House boat on day one was not as expected. It was small compared to other possible options. No TV and no hotel water for bath. Hotel for 3rd day had no extra bed for which I had to pay seperately. Even after all the confirmation, basic things were missed out as mentioned.

    We planned our Kerala trip with Travel Triangle and Wondersky Travels. Hotels for Kochi was below average, Hotel in Munnar was the only hotel in entire trip which we felt great. Hotel for Thekkady was 12 kms away from Thekkady when we finished our activities in Thekkady we couldn't explore local ma
    rket as the hotel was 12 kms away from town and we had to go there. Houseboat in Allepy was of average quality. Although the houseboat staff was very polite and helpful we didn't felt that bad. Hotel in Kovalam was pathetic. The room which we got initially when we reached was very bad and smelly the linen and towels were very dirty and bathroom was in very bad condition. Our entire time for that day after check in got spoiled in bad mood. We called Sandeep from wondersky and explained the situation about room then he asked for images on whatsapp as proofs and had to ask him to change the room and all. Then he upgraded our room to a good room. The cab driver was friendly.
