Looking for packages for Sri Lanka? Check out our Sri Lanka itinerary 9 days to see what's in store for you. Sri Lanka is a beautiful island located in the south of the Asian continent. This island country has congruence with the Indian subcontinent in its heritage and cultures, though it is separated from it by the Gulf of Mannar. We see many traces of the Indian culture on Sri Lanka, but it has retained its separate heritage and culture. With sprawling beaches, a relaxed vibe, the ancient cave temples, and the story of Ramayana filling the air, Sri Lanka is a paradise of a country.

Topographically, Sri Lanka is flat land, but it is filled with many romantic landscapes, with magnificent views. Relax on the beautiful beaches, visit the ancient cave temple at Dambulla, watch the herds and herds of elephants sway their way in the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, with a beautiful backdrop of a sunset.

Shop for extravagant goodies for your friends and family from the colorful and the vibrant markets of Colombo by choosing the Sri Lanka itinerary 9 days. Relish delicious traditional dishes of the Sri Lankan cuisine served on a green lotus leaf. You will also find the Dutch and some Portuguese influence on the dishes. Sha Travels and Tours exceeded our expectation by far. We had a great trip in Sri Lanka and hope to be back soon, of course with this travel company. We had multiple discussions with Mr. Prasanna before the trip, he understood the way we are planning and suggested best possible locations and hotels which fits into our budget. Throughout the trip we were in contact and shared the detail whenever required. Our chauffeur, Mr. Hemantha probably the best person in this business we have ever met in any trip. He knows the routs, hotels and people everywhere. His behavior and guidance led a hassle free, comfortable and interactive journey. After 8 days of our trip, we were missing Sri Lanka and its people. Thanks for the best experience Sha Travels and Tours.

Nikita's 10 days trip to Sri Lanka

It was a good trip. The driver Mr. Kumar was very welcoming and helpful throughout the journey. However, very 1st day of the trip was not so good since the first hotel provided in sigriya was very isolated and the route didn't feel safe for women's traveling. When asked for help from directlink agent they didn't provide with alternate accommodation immediately and kept us stranded in the car in heavy rains for 3 hours. Finally we were given a good hotel. Should have provided that in the first place. The journey was good and safe. Another bad experience was in Nuwara Eliya hotel (Lakeview comfort bungalow) where the manager wasn't at all cooperative and didn't had any dinner services when we arrived. Had to struggle to get our dinner ordered and the room given was not at all good and had no view at all and had to stay there for 2 nights. Could have done better with the rooms atleast. Another unsatisfactory experience was at mirissa hotel where there was no proper service at all. Just a foreigner woman who claimed she was managing the hotel and the owner was out. The sceneries were beautiful. The roads the places in srilanka were spectacular. The beaches were clean and beautiful. All the outings and the nature were the best memories. Thank you for making it a good trip. Just few hotel issues that need to be worked on. Otherwise it was amazing.

We had a good experience in SL. Only thing was the initial days driver Haris was irresponsible and wasted our 1 day. Later driver n taxi was changed. Aparajita did her job well. Ceylon City Hotel Colombo had bad food quality. Galway Heights at Nuwara Eliya was very pretty. Azam the next driver was courteous n polite. Direct Link has to make more practical travel itinerary.

Rating - 3 Shanil was our agent from travco and helped us chose and built an itinerary. however, the complete job post-payment was left to Janaka, our driver. Every time we reached out for a question- we were told to consult Janaka, Janaka drove well and showed up on time always, however, he did not explain the itinerary properly, talked rudely, asked us not to ask questions, skipped few spots like a strawberry garden, botanical garden, we weren't given the fee massage as promised, and the city tour was from inside the car. He forced us to go to places of his choosing - like gemstone showrooms where he might be getting a commission. He also made unexpected stops in the trip to lunch places of his choice, rather than ours. He also told us to walk to nine arc bridge when cars were going. The price quoted by Travco for activities like Whale watching and Yala safari was 2X more than the market price. We went with outside vendors and had a great experience - saw 2 leopards as well Hotels given were very good expect Galadari who had a really bad buffet for a 5 star Otherwise, Sri Lanka is very beautiful and we enjoyed the trip.

This was our first international tour. Traveldek Executive Mr.Fiyaz assisted us very good in respect to every need from the first day of contact till few days before the journey. Due to his personal reasons even if the cab details and Driver number was forwarded to me 1hr before my departure from my country. The cab was nice and the driver was helpful. As the driver was unaware of the details of the tour contract, the problem started from the second morning. However, the driver make it up quickly. We were not even greeted with water bottle at our arrival at Colombo. Not even a single person keep contact with us as we proceeded. The hotels are good and they were really good in services also. Food from the hotels were very tasty, healthy and fresh. They were safe and secure for foreigners. We could come to know about Srilanka in hands with Traveldek in a good manner. The service grade might have to improve. The agents must be in touch with the clients atleast when it is asked so. Hope they should flourish in this service sector with more professional attitude. Should provide a good guide who really eager to share information and really knowledgeable. The hotel Skandig, Trincomalee,Amaya lake.

I had an amazing trip to Sri Lanka. All thanks to Chamodi from Active Lanka adventures. She is very sweet, polite and the best agent. She took care of all my requirements and gave me the best options withing my budget. I would like to thank her for providing me the best Chauffer/driver - Gamini. He was the best, very polite and well-behaved. The provided van was so neat and well maintained. The booked hotels were same as expected. Overall, 11/10. We undertook 11 days tour of Sri Lanka from 29th Feb to 10th March 2020 and visited Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Mirissa, Bentota and Colombo. The entire tour was well planned by the travel agency and it was quite comfortable tour. Taxi driver with luxurious sedan was with us for the entire tour from day one and provided Sim card for connectivity and also worked as guide. We stayed for 2 days at certain places but no local sightseeing on the first day was arranged by the Agency. At some places food was not to our taste. In all tour was very satisfying and comfortable.

We had a delightful trip, except a few confusions here and there. Make sure that the vendor follows a transparent process while discussing the itenary with guests. Committing something and delivering different thing will cause unnecessary confusions. However, the vendor took care of all our needs very well. They did a very good job. Nuwera eliya and ela was heaven.

The trip was good. However we had to change the hotels provided by the agent. In the process we were not provided with refund of hotels cancelled. The car was comfortable. The driver was good. Although we expected him to guide us too he was little disconnected in that respect. But no complaints on his driving. The white water rafting in Nuwara eliya and bike tour in galle were highlight. These two are must do. The jungle safari in afternoon was expensive and a total failure.
