We booked Kashmir tour through Burooj travels. They had organized it pretty well and special mention of our guide/driver Wasim who accompanied us through out. He is very professional and well spoken. I request Burooj travels though to let the tourist know about local site seeing which can not be done with their vehicle. Also request to tourists is to plan the journey minimum 6 weeks ahead otherwise you will have to compromise on the hotels.

Everything went well we all had a super enjoyable trip of Kashmir , except the last day we missed our houseboat experience due to rain and storm by which our booked houseboat was damaged and we were asked to accomodate in two seperate house boat which was not adjacent or connected it was away nearly 5,6 houseboat since we were all family want to enjoy even the IPL match together of Mumbai on the same day so we rejected the offer and asked operator to offer is hotels rooms instead of houseboat due to last moment changes he was unable to provide same category hotel as booked houseboat but since we do not have option and has to accept the offer . We missed our chance of experience of houseboat rest went well with out problem.

The hotels were selected by me but one of them was not having good heating felicities as I visited Kashmir in December but they immediately change my whole plan to suite my requirements and that was very amazing, even I had issue with money transfer and they helped me with that also these people are amazing, I fell in love with Kashmir. The driver was also good but very quite person.

One inconvenience we faces was, when the date of arrival was nearing, we got to know that the person who had arranged and booked our trip had gone on a long leave. Now this lead to some missed communications between the team and us. However, the person in charge -Rayees ji, had shared his number with us and we were in constant touch with him to fill in the gaps due to which we didn't experience any major inconvenience. However, do ensure your agent books your gondola tickets well in advance as this wasn't handled for us. Apart from this, the services by Travel home were good and all the hotels they booked were excellent. There's absolutely no need to cross verify the hotels they provide you, as they provide some very good hotels with top notch views at a good price. One word of advice , if you are booking trips during the month of Ramadan, postpone it. As the driver also has their Roza and Iftaar due to which you will have to wrap up your sightseeing by 6.30pm max. This is a huge disadvantage as you'll be missing a lot of time and experiences at many places as you won't want to discomfort them as well. Driver Aashiq Bhai was professional and always on time. Was a very efficient and a safe driver, as well. However due to his Roza, we had a tight time schedule on our trip ( had to wrap up before iftaar as we didn't want to discomfort him). The trip was overall made hassle free and we enjoyed our experience :) thanks travel home!

We have booked our Kashmir Trip through Mili group of Travels through Travel Triangle in last April during the tenure of 19th April-27th April 2019. We are quietly scared of our Kashmir tour due to last terrorist attacks in Pulwama, but with our utter surprise, we stick to our tour to continue. And we feel that it was the best decisions that we made to book Kashmir tour through them. Though booking our Kashmir tour through travel triangle we just not booked our tour but also make a sweet sister Batool Shafi Baht. who is the person that every day took care of everything from needles to air ticket? she arranged e\vrything and make a perfect plan to escape through the heaven gateway. All of our hotels was 4* star rating and all the rooms are with the natural views, and the 2 meals like breakfast and dinners also inclu\ded in our trip plan. All the rooms are cosy \\and comfortable up to mark, even its freeing co\ld outside, the bathroom also have heaters facility. they give us Toyota Innova \cars in \our trip and a driver cum guide named Lucky Ali, who is another brother that make the place in our hearts. Everyday Mili \Tours(Miss Batool) took care of everything and always eager to listen to our opinions and if needed he changes it immediately. Our itinerary was like that, first day sightseen at Kashmir, 2nd day Srinagar to SOnmar, 3rd day Gulmarg Stay, 4th Day Pahalgam stay, 5th day came back to Srinagar, 6th day Kashmir tulip garden and other famous garden visit, 7th Day Doothpatri visit, 8th Day mansabal lake, Hazratbal mosque, vadam vari visit.9th-day airport drop at early morning. In the end, I wish to book my next Ladakh tour through Mili TOurs and travels by watching the hospitality of them, I would like to book my every tour with them wherever they will offer. Thanks for the trip and wish you all the best, surely Mili tours and travels is the best Kashmir tour without any other word to say. thanks again. Love from Bangladesh. Kamrul Hasan Shajib, Dhaka

Pranab's 9 days trip to Ladakh

Our Trip to Kashmir was divided into two parts: Srinagar and Ladakh. I will be reviewing both parts. We had a tour of 9 days in which we here serviced by two different Tour Operators: "See Kashmir Travels" in Srinagar & "Pristine Travels" in Ladakh. During the tour, we stayed at 7 hotels/tents. Our field agent at Srinagar, Mr. Shabir was a great guy. He was not only welcoming but was flexible with all our plans. He was following up with our driver and also asked the driver to take us to few more tourist spots that were not included in the itinerary. During his tenure, we stayed at 02 hotels and a houseboat, all of which were awesome and we had a memorable stay. We were two couples and the vehicle provided was a Tavera. The driver, Mr. Iqbal, was a well behaved-professional guy. We were enjoying each moment of this trip and often spent some extra time at the spots, to which he never uttered a word and was considerate enough to extend his service by few more hours than assigned. Coming to Ladakh, we realized how the mood of the trip depends on the tour operator. On arriving in Ladakh, we were taken to a hotel that had nothing but a platter of disappointments. On informing the same to our Amazing Routes agent, Mr. Priyanshu Das, who was an awesome guy and was always available for our support, our stay was changed the next day to "Jeevanam Villa" which was magnificent. Meanwhile, we also received a call from the field agent, I don't remember his name as we had conversed only that day and that too he was saying that 'Aapko Leh me aise hi hotels milenge'. The hotel was a mess. The tiles in the bathroom were broken, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, and the food-it was a nightmare. And to add to it, the driver who was also supposed to be the guide, was one horrible person. He didn't know anything about any places plus always had a grumpy face in addition to being rude. Every time we went to any spot, he used to come before us after few minutes and ask us to proceed to the next spot as it will become late. He was doing it throughout the trip and used to get us back at the hotel by 3-4 PM. After 02 days, we talked to Mr. Priyanshu regarding this after which the driver was like "aapko jaha jitna time lena h, le lo". I know this is a long post, but I wanted to convey to the Travel Triangle & Amazing Routes Teams that kindly refrain from these types of agents as we were having at Leh, they only spoil the trips which in turn may reduce your customer base. If we would have taken a trip only to Ladakh, we would never have booked any further trips with Travel Triangle.

First, the negatives: We faced a few unexpected costs which the agent had not told us about in advance when we were planning the trip. For example, we had to hire a separate cab for Rs 1,600 from Tangmarg to Gulmarg. The designated cab assigned by the agent would not go till our Gulmarg hotel, citing taxi union rules. At all locations -- Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam - the charges for pony ride were very steep (between approx. 1200-3000 per person -- for a family of four that's upwards of Rs 12,000). We were not prepared for this and hence decided to skip these activities. At Sonmarg, for a one-hour long car ride, we ended up paying Rs 4,000. Further, at each of the above locations, travellers are required to rent coats and boots (costing about Rs 300 per person). Additionally, two locations in our itinerary (to which two days were devoted out of our 9-day tour) are shut during winter -- Yousmarg and Doodhpatri -- and the agent never told us about this aspect. It was only when we landed in Srinagar and began our trip that our cab driver informed us about it. No alternative arrangements were made by the agent nor the driver to reimburse any of costs due to this. It would have been better had the agent recommended a different itinerary, considering there is so little to do in Srinagar. Even the gardens were extremely dull. Better guidance from the agent would have helped. Our Pahalgam hotel, Pahalgam Retreat, had no wi-fi for the entire duration of our 2-night stay. There was no power supply from 10PM-6AM either on both days. My suggestion to fellow travellers is to get a more detailed understanding of inclusions for each room while booking the package e.g. one or two bottles of complimentary mineral water, teabags, milk and sugar sachets. We did not get these complimentary at two of the four hotels we stayed in. Now the positives: We had an excellent driver. Three of the four hotels we stayed in: Royal Heritage in Srinagar, Royal Park in Gulmarg and Young Golden Palace Houseboat in Dal Lake were very good. Our agent was very reassuring in making us a decision to travel to Kashmir, because we were very concerned about travelling to the region due to safety concerns after the Pulwama attacks. All meals on our package were extremely tasty and wholesome. Kashmiri people are very warm, friendly, soft-spoken and their hospitality is memorable. We probably chose the wrong month to travel there, and next time we shall visit in summer.
