    Abbey Falls

Abbey Falls or Abbi Falls is a famous tourist attraction in Coorg which is also included in our sightseeing itinerary of 2 nights 3 days Coorg vacation packages. It is located only at a distance of 10 kilometres from the town of Madikeri in Coorg itself. It is a retreat hub for family, friends and especially honeymooners who look for a quick getaway from nearby cities or other parts of India. Abbey Falls is a gorgeous waterfall where the water falls down from a cliff which is at a height of 70 feet. The sight is worth everything for visitors. Abbey Falls is located amidst the landscape of green and lush forests which is similar to that of the sceneries one comes across in Western Ghats. While the waterfalls attract a lot of visitors here, photographers and nature lovers especially find this place worth every penny. The exotic location of Abby Fall which is nestled in between private estates of coffee plantations and spice plantations where trees are entwined with pepper vines make it a charming attraction for tourists who seek solace. Take a tour of the hanging over-bridge that is placed just opposite of the falls, and offer the most picturesque vistas of white foams gushing down the ridge.

Thanks for planning the trip and helping with the tickets! But there were few sightseeing places that were closed/ not fully functioning during our day of visit which we cud have altered had we known earlier. Also, whole of day 1 was spent traveling to coorg and it was not possible to accommodate any sight seeing (as planned) as we were not aware of the journey time to coorg and closure time of tourist places. Maybe that cud have been scheduled better.

Tala cauvery couldn't be visited due to misinformation given by the driver that the road was closed. In the evening we came to know that the road was open and some traffic jam was there. The driver was unconcerned. There is no word 'Aap' in his hindi dictionary and liberally uses 'tum', tumare ko etc. The ride to Mandalpatty was the best part of the journey. The monsoon view of the surroundings and the play of the clouds, are worth the rickety drive uphill.

Trip was thoroughly planned from beginning to the end. All transactions right from initial inquiry till the end of the trip, were professional. In fact, there was a confusion about payment amount during the time of checking in to the hotel. The agent did a timely intervention and resolved it. Post that, they sent 2 boxes of chocolates for facing inconvenience. Cab driver was also flexible in the schedule.

Being a regular customer I expected a lot from Travel Triange as my previous experience was beyond Compare.Sorry to say but this time it did not meet my expectations. Here are some points which I would like to mention 1.the agent asked me to pay my installment to various people at different places, which was not at all decent because it seemed like a complete mess. 2.The itinerary was not as per the travel time 3.The agent was reminded again amd again about the trip and other details. 4.The quote was finalised and accordingly i had paid my previous installment but later in extra amount was asked around 6000 extra was paid Ooty was very beautiful. The landscape, the hotel at Ooty,Hospitality of people and gardens were very good.

Travel time could have been saved if the travel agent would have guided correctly. Also we stayed at 2: hotels. Services of first hotel (Al Wesal International)was not upto the mark, it was in unhygienic condition , the staff was unprofessional. Second one (Height Farm resort) was very nice, clean and the staff was very co operative.
