4. Banashankari Temple

Built by Kalyana Chalukya Kings during the 11th-12th century C.E., Banashankari Temple is composed of sandstone. ‘Bana’ means ‘forest,’ and ‘Shankari’ refers to ‘wife of Shankar’ or ‘Goddess Parvati.’ Therefore, Maa Banashankari is the Goddess of Forest, an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. The Dravidian-style temple consists of two shrines- one of Devi Banashankari, while the other houses a Shiva Linga. The pillars of Navaranga Mandapa have carvings of Natraja, Vishnu, Ganapati, Shiva, Surya, and many other deities.

5. Siddharoodha Math

Built in the memory of Shri Siddharoodha Swami, the Siddharoodha Math is a famous religious institution in Hubli. 6. Nrupatunga Hill (Nrupatunga Betta)
